About the Journal

The Lumina Interdisciplinary Research Journal (LIRJ) is an international, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal published semi-annually by the Lumina Foundation for Integral Human Development, Inc. It is an open-access journal issued biannually and is committed to the wide dissemination of high-quality scholarly work. All articles undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure academic integrity, originality, and relevance. Many contributions are drawn from papers presented at Lumina Foundation conferences while remaining open to submissions from the broader academic and research community.

As an interdisciplinary journal, LIRJ promotes the integration of perspectives, theories, and methods from different fields of study. Interdisciplinary research goes beyond a single discipline by bringing together insights from areas such as the social sciences, humanities, education, theology, environmental studies, and related domains. This approach allows scholars to address complex real-world issues more holistically, recognizing that many contemporary challenges cannot be fully understood or solved within the boundaries of one field alone. By fostering dialogue across disciplines, the journal encourages innovative thinking, critical engagement, and the development of more comprehensive frameworks for research and practice.

LIRJ welcomes submissions from researchers, academicians, practitioners, and graduate students from around the world. Authors are invited to contribute original research articles, theoretical papers, and case studies that reflect interdisciplinary approaches and offer meaningful insights into pressing local and global concerns. Through this platform, the journal seeks to cultivate a vibrant scholarly community dedicated to advancing knowledge, promoting collaboration, and contributing to integral human development.
