Statement on the Use of Generative AI (GenAI)

Our editorial policies are guided by internationally recognized standards of publication ethics, including principles articulated by organizations such as the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). In accordance with these principles, the journal requires full transparency in the use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) tools in the research and publication process. Authors must clearly disclose any use of GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, DALL·E, or other AI-based language or image generators) in the preparation of their manuscripts. This disclosure applies to, but is not limited to, assistance with writing, language editing, data analysis, and figure or image generation.

Authors remain fully and solely responsible for the integrity, originality, accuracy, and scholarly validity of all submitted content, including any portions developed with the assistance of GenAI tools. GenAI tools must not be listed as authors, as they cannot assume responsibility, accountability, or authorship under established academic standards. All submissions must comply with the principles of academic honesty, originality, proper attribution, and the avoidance of plagiarism, regardless of whether AI tools were used.

Any misuse or failure to disclose the use of GenAI tools may be considered a breach of publication ethics and may result in editorial action. These policies are informed by evolving best practices in ethical publishing and will be reviewed and updated periodically to reflect developments in artificial intelligence technologies and scholarly communication.
